Its contents also cover the inner display, outer display, display cover layer, Touch ID button and USB-C connector.<\/p>\n<p>Reaching the two batteries requires different opening steps.<\/p>\n<p>Apple\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/en-us\/127657\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Battery 1 procedure<\/a> requires removing the back glass first. Its separate <a href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/en-us\/127667\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Battery 2 procedure<\/a> starts with the outer display. Both describe electrically released adhesive and recommend Repair Assistant after installation.<\/p>\n<p>Replacing the two batteries therefore involves opening different parts of the phone. Image: Apple<\/p>\n<p>The manual also covers displays and hinge troubleshooting.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond the batteries, the contents include separate procedures for the inner display assembly and outer display cover layer, alongside troubleshooting for hinge, sensor and Touch ID problems. The manual is useful even without attempting a repair: it shows how Apple separates the Duo\u2019s serviceable components.<\/p>\n<p>The company has separately discussed the phone\u2019s exterior materials, including <a href=\"https:\/\/mixed-news.com\/en\/apple-iphone-duo-us-titanium-perryman-investment\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">its investment in US titanium production for iPhone Duo<\/a>.
