He made his way back to the bench with assistance from team training staff. <\/p>\n<p>He left the game with 8:25 TOI and two shots on target.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I didn&#8217;t like to see (Hyman) go,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/EdmontonOilers\/status\/2114948426047918192?s=20\" rel=\"nofollow\">Edmonton head coach Mike Babcock said<\/a> after what ended as a 4-3 shootout loss to the Red Wings. &#8220;We&#8217;re hoping to get guys back, not losing more guys. That affected our lineup a bit.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Hyman was in his fifth game of the season since returning to the Oilers lineup after suffering an injury in the pre-season finale. The 34-year-old has one goal on the season. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Any time you get injured twice, it&#8217;s not a good sign,&#8221; Babcock later added. &#8220;He&#8217;s a very important piece for us, so that wasn&#8217;t fun to watch that.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Zach Hyman could be staring down another injury absence.
