Sydney, which is in the market for a bona fide key forward, the Suns and Geelong continue to be the clubs linked to the 28-year-old spearhead as Herald Sun and Fox Footy reporter Jon Ralph provided an update on the state of play.

Watch the best coverage of the 2025 AFL finals series, including every game until the Grand Final LIVE with no ad-breaks during play, on Kayo. But they’d have to win comprehensively from it in what is Michael Voss’ last year of his contract.

“I think Carlton would laugh at any collection of former VFL types, Ollie Florent types, flankers, has-beens.”

Pies slide as FOUR teams in flag window | 02:11

In a down year for the Blues, Curnow this season kicked 32 goals in 18 games — his second-lowest career tally in the six seasons where he’s played 18 or more games.

Brisbane Lions legend Jonathan Brown said: “It’ll be interesting to see what (Curnow) suggests, because whenever a player suggests they want to leave, usually it gets done. So, it’s a big day for the Carlton Football Club tomorrow.”

Former Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley gave his thoughts on the possible price the Swans would have to pay to land Curnow in a trade.

“He might want a change. If it happens, it’s not just because he wants out of Carlton — he might feel like he needs stimulation in a change of environment to find his best footy,” Buckley told Fox Footy on Monday night.

“It (a trade) is not going to happen for one of those three (Gulden, Warner or Heeney), but a first (round draft pick) and a player would probably be about right, I reckon.”

The rumblings around a possible Charlie Curnow Carlton departure aren’t dying down as he remains “open to exploring…

[9
64,63,689,3237,3239,69934,69933,13213,69831,13659,2105,2485,9130,681,19052,647,3257,26511,673,7204,677,69935,701,68999,3247,85,670,7200,11236,660
post-94662","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-sports","tag-au","tag-australia","tag-australia-and-new-zealand","tag-brisbane-lions","tag-carlton-blues","tag-charlie-curnow-carlton","tag-exit-interviews-start","tag-finals-series","tag-flag-contenders","tag-geelong-cats","tag-getty-images-inc","tag-gold-coast","tag-gold-coast-suns","tag-jon-ralph","tag-jonathan-brown","tag-melbourne","tag-michael-voss","tag-nathan-buckley","tag-new-south-wales","tag-north-melbourne-kangaroos","tag-oceania","tag-pies-slide","tag-queensland","tag-rivals-circle","tag-robert-cianflone","tag-sports","tag-sydney","tag-sydney-swans","tag-trade-news","tag-victoria
["GET
