However, instead of a traditional embrace, Riley immediately buried his face into the bride\u2019s chest, shaking his head, essentially motorboating her strapless bridal gown before pumping his fists to the crowd.<\/p>\n
Adelina burst into laughter at the brazen display, though not everyone watching was quite as amused.<\/p>\n
Officiant Nathan Grieve claimed he was caught completely off guard, captioning the post that he has \u201cnever seen\u201d that happen before.<\/p>\n
\u201cRiley immediately celebrated his new wife in a way that will absolutely be remembered at family gatherings for years to come,\u201d Mr Grieve captioned the TikTok <\/a>video.<\/p>\n To cap off the ceremony, the planned exit music failed to play as the newlyweds made their way back up the aisle, replaced instead by a blaring car alarm from the nearby parking lot.<\/p>\n \u201cPerfect timing. Perfectly Riley & Adelina,\u201d Mr Grieve added.<\/p>\n Despite the couple\u2019s good spirits, etiquette expert Jo Hayes gave the raunchy move a firm \u201cthumbs down\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cWhile it appears to be consensual in this clip \u2014 the bride doesn\u2019t appear shocked or surprised, and doesn\u2019t appear to try and stop him \u2014 this is a wedding ceremony,\u201d Ms Hayes told news.com.au.<\/p>\n \u201cSuch sexually suggestive\/sexual innuendo-type behaviour isn\u2019t appropriate.\u201d<\/p>\n Ms Hayes pointed out that a wedding crowd is rarely an adults-only audience.<\/p>\n \u201cThere are likely children in the audience, for whom witnessing such behaviour would be highly inappropriate,\u201d she explained. <\/p>\n \u201cAnd even for adults, witnessing such behaviour can make people uncomfortable.\u201d<\/p>\n Suggesting the groom may have taken inspiration from Hollywood, Ms Hayes offered some blunt advice: \u201cIt\u2019s highly likely he\u2019s a fan of Wedding Crashers and thought such a stunt would be funny \u2026 darling, it\u2019s really not\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cSave it for the honeymoon.\u201d<\/p>\n The video, which has amassed over 270,000 views, has since sparked plenty of chatter on social media, with many people saying the act would immediately instigate a divorce.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is at the centre of a Venn diagram of things you shouldn\u2019t do at your wedding,\u201d one person wrote on TikTok<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cThat is such a red flag though. It shows a lack of respect for her and their families.
