Country music<\/a> singer Nicole Taylor, known for her role in the triplet sister band Taylor Red, has died at age 35.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Her sisters, Nika and Natalie Taylor, announced the shock news of her death on Tuesday, revealing she had been diagnosed with terminal cancer<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Nika and Natalie Taylor, influencers and country singers, have announced the news that their triplet sister Nicole has died. \u00a0Instagram\/@taylorred<\/p>\n

The sisters opened up about the tragic news in a TikTok<\/a> video, and shared that Nicole died on September 28.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re heartbroken to announce the passing of our sister Nicole Taylor,\u201d Nika said<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWe honestly thought she\u2019d be healed here on earth, but now she\u2019s healed in heaven.\u201d<\/p>\n

The sisters explained that Nicole was first diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in 2022.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was an aggressive type. In her words, when she first found out, was \u2018God\u2019s gonna use this for his glory,\u2019\u201d Natalie said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cShe thought it fearlessly and she said, \u2018We\u2019re not going to live in dread during all of this.\u2019 And she even did CrossFit while she was with her chemo treatments. She responded well to treatments and she was declared evidence without disease.\u201d<\/p>\n

The sisters shared that Nicole was told \u201cnine months later\u201d that the cancer had returned as stage four and she had \u201caround three months to live\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201c[The doctor said] if the treatments worked, they didn\u2019t know how long after that,\u201d Nika said.<\/p>\n

The sisters posted an emotional YouTube video on Monday, where they opened up about the \u201cbig shock\u201d of Nicole\u2019s cancer diagnosis.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re still processing everything,\u201d Natalie said through tears.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThis, honestly, feels really hard to talk about, but we\u2019re going to do our best to share her story.\u201d<\/p>\n

The sisters then shared a clip of Nicole in her 20s discussing her faith in God, which they said helped her through her cancer journey.<\/p>\n

Natalie and Nika have also created a page in Nicole\u2019s memory.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cNicole, the oldest of us three sisters, will be greatly missed. She was our leader and our best friend,\u201d Nika and Natalie wrote in a statement.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are heartbroken, but we know she is in Heaven and will see her again.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

The influencers also revealed that they have already farewelled Nicole in a private funeral.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The red-haired identical triplets grew up with music, playing instruments like the guitar, banjo, fiddle and the mandolin.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The trio, who are a country music band, are best known for their songs Rent Free and Country Money.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In 202,1 they opened up about how much social media has had an impact on their success, with the triplets well known on TikTok.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cOver the past year, TikTok changed our world,\u201d Nika told People.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIt knocked down a lot of doors in an industry we had spent years knocking on.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTikTok has the ability to launch music unlike any other social media platform out there,\u201d Nicole added.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIt gives everyone a chance.\u201d<\/p>\n
