The Panthers\u2019 hopes of snaring a top-four finish all but ended in dramatic fashion against the Raiders in golden point on Friday night.<\/p>\n
But coach Ivan Cleary remained upbeat about his team\u2019s chances for the season despite a second straight golden point defeat.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is what it is,\u201d Cleary said. \u201cIt\u2019s not what you want, but it\u2019s what you get, so there\u2019s plenty of lessons again<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd these types of things, it\u2019s obviously very disappointing when you put so much effort in for that, but we just have got to take the lessons and get on with life.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think the lessons are pretty obvious, as I said a little bit similar to last week, not quite the same.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Panthers welcomed back co-captain Isaah Yeo against the Raiders in Mudgee when he came off the bench after recovering from a shoulder injury.<\/p>\n
