Jack Osbourne<\/a> admitted he\u2019s been experiencing \u201csome symptoms\u201d in his ongoing battle with multiple sclerosis (MS), but acknowledged others have it \u201cworse\u201d. <\/p>\n

Osbourne, 40, the youngest child of late singer Ozzy Osbourne<\/a> and wife Sharon Osbourne<\/a>, opened up about his chronic illness during Tuesday\u2019s episode of the MeSsy<\/a> podcast with hosts Christina Applegate<\/a> and Jamie-Lynn Sigler.<\/p>\n

In a rare update, the father-of-five revealed he\u2019s \u201cbeen having some symptoms\u201d for about six months now.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have a lot to be grateful for even though things don\u2019t feel so good right now,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n

Osbourne was diagnosed with MS in 2012 at age 26<\/a>, right after the birth of his first child, and after he had been sober since age 17.<\/p>\n

The star is currently not on any medication to treat his MS after unintentionally weaning off it during his 2019 divorce with ex Lisa Stelly when his medical insurance became invalid.<\/p>\n

Osbourne told listeners he would still check in with his doctor and undergo MRIs.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut nothing too crazy, well, sort of crazy, I feel like I have road rash all over my body from my chest down to my knees so it\u2019s very uncomfortable to wear clothes,\u201d he revealed. <\/p>\n

Osbourne was asked if, being in the spotlight, he felt a sense of responsibility in the MS community.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf I\u2019m being honest, a part of me feels like a bit of a fraud in a sense,\u201d he admitted. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been diagnosed 14 years now, and I see people who were diagnosed a year ago, and they\u2019re in a much worse position.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re having a much harder time, and I\u2019m kind of like, it does affect me [but] it hasn\u2019t stopped me, and it hasn\u2019t slowed me down.\u201d <\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the podcast, Osbourne was asked if he ever felt like his identity was connected to his diagnosis. <\/p>\n

The star acknowledged there was a time he \u201chated\u201d people feeling sorry for him. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s like don\u2019t f–king give me your pity. Sure, maybe there are moments where I need a bit of a hug,\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cBut I didn\u2019t like that feeling, and I didn\u2019t like someone telling me I was a disease.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said navigating the disease was a \u201ctough balance\u201d because he does want to help the MS community, and he is a member of \u201ca community that does struggle\u201d. <\/p>\n

\u201cI just got so frustrated with aspects of what that meant by being a kind of big flag wavier in that sphere. <\/p>\n

Host Applegate, who was recently misdiagnosed with MS since 2021<\/a>, could find the humour in his admission. <\/p>\n

\u201cTalk about being a fraud, I don\u2019t even have it any more,\u201d she quipped, making Sigler and Osbourne burst into laughter.<\/p>\n
