The addition of the fee-only registered investment advisor establishes a presence for Aprio’s wealth management group in Dallas-Fort Worth. It gives Aprio’s local clients a wealth management team in the area, and Garner’s clients access to tax, estate planning and legal services.<\/p>\n

Garner was founded in 1998 by Robert Garner, who is joining Aprio as a partner.<\/p>\n
“As I thought about the future of our firm, finding the right home for our clients and our people was incredibly important to me,” Garner said, in a statement. “Aprio shares our commitment to clients and will bring capabilities and resources that will allow us to do even more for them as their needs evolve.”<\/p>\n
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.<\/p>\n
Aprio Wealth Management reported approximately $6.1 billion in assets under management as of the end of September, while Atlanta-based Aprio ranked No. 20 on Accounting Today’s 2026 Top 100 Firms list<\/a>, with $616 million in revenue, nearly 300 partners and 3,170 employees across 37 offices. In 2024, the firm received a private equity investment<\/a> from Charlesbank Capital Partners.<\/p>\n Aprio has been steadily acquiring firms over the past several years. Most recently, it bought advisory firm TGRP Solutions<\/a> in Denver at the beginning of October. Before that, it added Isdaner & Company<\/a> in Pennsylvania in June. In May, it acquired Price Kong, expanding its Arizona presence and marking its entry into the cannabis industry; and in January, it added two Oregon firms, Delap and Hoffman, Stewart & Schmidt<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n In 2025, it added Mize CPAs and Prism Financial Group<\/a>, RSM US’s Professional Services+<\/a> practice, JMS Advisory Group<\/a> in Atlanta, and AI accounting assistant platform TimeCredit<\/a>.
