{"id":95807,"date":"2025-08-25T23:39:07","date_gmt":"2025-08-25T23:39:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/95807\/"},"modified":"2025-08-25T23:39:07","modified_gmt":"2025-08-25T23:39:07","slug":"official-poster-for-tank-vs-paul-on-netflix","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/95807\/","title":{"rendered":"Official Poster For \u2018Tank vs. Paul\u2019 On Netflix"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">The boxing world was flipped upside down earlier this week following the news that current WBA Lightweight champion, Tank Davis, would face off against Jake Paul in an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mmamania.com\/boxing\/384002\/jake-paul-vs-gervonta-davis-boxing-match-booked-netflix-despite-weight-difference-lamont-roach-reacts\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">exhibition bout on Nov. 14, 2025 in Atlanta, Ga.,<\/a> streaming exclusively on Netflix.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Fans should be rejoicing because Paul is finally fighting a \u201creal boxer,\u201d though he currently outweighs him by more than 60 pounds and has him covered by six inches in height. Nevertheless, the \u201cfight\u201d is actually going to happen, for better or worse, and the official poster has been released.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">It\u2019s a fight that came out of nowhere since Davis <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mmamania.com\/2025\/5\/15\/24431170\/tank-davis-vs-lamont-roach-2-set-for-aug-16-in-las-vegas-boxing-dazn-mma\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was supposed to rematch<\/a> Lamont Roach Jr. after their epic battler earlier this year that saw Tank win a unanimous decision in what was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mmamania.com\/2025\/3\/2\/24375786\/watch-video-highlights-tank-davis-roach-results-prime-ppv-new-york-pbc-knee-draw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a tightly-contested bout<\/a>. But, according to Eddie Hearn, he isn\u2019t too surprised he chose a big-money bout against Paul over Roach Jr., revealing he won\u2019t be shocked if Davis calls it a career after he gets his bag after Nov. 14.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">\u201cI mean, maybe the kid\u2019s half checked out of the game anyway,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/sports.yahoo.com\/article\/don-t-think-gervonta-loves-203909499.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hearn said<\/a>. \u201cSo, I think as long as we establish it\u2019s not boxing and it\u2019s just this entertainment thing, then I get it. When fighters get to a certain point and a certain level it becomes all about the money. And Tank obviously right now, I don\u2019t think he\u2019s interested in legacy and belts, I think he wants dough, he wants money, and as much of it as possible and then if it\u2019s the end, it\u2019s the end.
