Well, it’s not unusual to see the police in court, but this is a little different.<\/p>\n

Sting, the frontman for his band The Police, is reportedly being sued by his former bandmates, guitarist Andy Summers and drummer Stewart Copeland, for unpaid royalties.<\/p>\n

The two have issued Sting, real name Gordon Sumner, with a UK High Court writ seeking substantial damages, alleging they’re owed millions of dollars in lost royalties over the years.<\/p>\n

At the centre of this claim, it would appear, is the song Every Breath You Take, a monster hit in the 1980s, which still yields Sting millions of pounds annually in songwriting royalties.<\/p>\n

Copeland and Summer are not credited as songwriters and after years of legal rows and attempts to reach an out-of-court settlement, this has all turned very ugly.<\/p>\n

A report in The Sun in the UK sparked worldwide headlines this morning.<\/p>\n

And Jon Stevens is back with an incredible new album which he recorded in LA, Hawaii, Melbourne and New York City with a super hot band led by Rod Stewart’s keyboard player producer Kevin Savigar.<\/p>\n

I cannot wait to hear that live, Jon is dropping a new track every week and Shimmer the album will be out on October 8.<\/p>\n

Finally, if you’re a fan of the Gilmore Girls, you’ll be smiling with your cup of chai this morning with the news that a documentary is on the way, just in time to celebrate the series’ 25th anniversary in October.<\/p>\n

Titled Searching for Stars Hollow, the doco will examine the show’s role in pop culture history and will include never-before-seen interviews with cast members and behind-the-scenes stories from crew members, writers and directors.<\/p>\n

So far, stars Kelly Bishop, Jared Padalecki and Chad Michael Murray are all confirmed to be involved with the project.<\/p>\n
