Beloved The Bold and the Beautiful legend Susan Flannery has moved down under. The actress said goodbye to the United States to begin a new chapter in Australia.<\/p>\n

Flannery\u2019s friend and former co-star Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke) shared an Instagram Story <\/a>with the news of her friend\u2019s big move. Lang, Flannery, and Ashley Jones<\/a> (Bridget) were in the picture with other friends from her farewell party.<\/p>\n

\u201cSusan\u2019s going away party\u2026she is moving to Australia! We will miss you, Susan!!\u201d was written on the picture.<\/p>\n

According to Soap Central<\/a>, Jones also used Instagram Stories to say goodbye to Flannery.<\/p>\n

\u201cSusan Flannery played Stephanie Forrester for 25 years. Grateful we got to tell her yesterday what she meant to us. Emotional stories. Special stories. Susan elevated our show. She demanded the best. It was cool there, hearing Katherine Kelly Lang talk about all those years of Stephanie and Brooke. Susan is such a force. I learned so much from her,\u201d Jones wrote a photo that included Lang, Flannery, and The Bold and the Beautiful supervising producer Casey Kasprzyk.<\/p>\n

Flannery hasn\u2019t been part of The Bold and the Beautiful<\/a> since 2012, when Stephanie Forrester died from lung cancer. She was a pivotal character from the jump when the hit CBS soap debuted in 1987.<\/p>\n

The actress made a brief return in 2023 when Eric (John McCook) was dying. Ghost Stephanie visited him, giving fans hope that Flannery might consider a permanent return.<\/p>\n

Even though Stephanie died, soap fans know a character doesn\u2019t always stay dead. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case with Stephanie. Flannery\u2019s move down under squashes any hopes Stephanie will come back alive.<\/p>\n

Soap Hub<\/a>confirmed the reason for Flannery\u2019s life change. Flannery\u2019s daughter and grandchildren live there, and she wanted to be close to them.<\/p>\n

The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS.<\/p>\n
