However, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/tbrfootball.com\/how-much-liverpool-are-ready-to-bid-for-alexander-isak-after-striker-holds-fresh-newcastle-talks\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Boot Room journalist Graeme Bailey reports that an improved offer is imminent<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>After Isak\u2019s talks with Reuben, Newcastle are \u2018anticipating a bid\u2019 amid \u2018serious doubts over whether he\u2019ll ever play for the club again\u2019, the report claims.<\/p>\n<p>Bailey says that Liverpool\u2019s \u2018new offer\u2019 is expected to \u2018surpass \u00a3130m\u2019 and \u2018might get closer to \u00a3140m in total\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The Reds are refusing to pay \u00a3150m, which is believed to be Newcastle\u2019s asking price, even if they refuse to say he\u2019s up for sale.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of replacements for Isak, the report adds that Wolves want \u00a370m for Jorgen Strand Larsen, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.football365.com\/news\/ornstein-reveals-wolves-reject-50m-newcastle-bid-for-strand-larsen\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">with the Geordies having tabled a \u00a350m bid<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Their two \u2018priority options\u2019 right now are Strand Larsen and Brentford\u2019s Yoane Wissa, with Eddie Howe keen on signing two strikers, which \u2018indicates that they are working on the provision that Isak will depart\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Isak has scored 54 goals in 86 Premier League appearances.
