Titans captain Tino Fa\u2019asuamaleaui has launched an extraordinary attack on his club\u2019s management, believing others need to take responsibility for their struggles rather than just the coach.<\/p>\n
Fa\u2019asuamaleaui said he was stunned by the Titans\u2019 decision to sack Des Hasler with a season left to run on his contract. <\/p>\n
The decision to part ways with Hasler comes with the Titans languishing in last position on the ladder this season.<\/p>\n

Limited-time offer ><\/a><\/p>\n The Titans also finished 14th last year in Hasler\u2019s first season at the club.<\/p>\n Hasler will coach the Titans in their final two games of the season against the Dolphins and Wests Tigers before cutting ties with the club.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was a bit of a shock. I know the results haven\u2019t gone the way they have gone this year, but whenever you hear that your coach has been sacked, it does hurt,\u201d the skipper told reporters on Wednesday.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s my second time now I\u2019ve been through that (a coach being sacked). It\u2019s very upsetting.<\/p>\n \u201cYou see the work that Des does behind the scenes and how much he really does care.<\/p>\n \u201cThe results haven\u2019t been there and that\u2019s what comes with the game \u2013 how ruthless it is.\u201d<\/p>\n The 25-year-old felt the only two people at the club who had to take \u201caccountability\u201d were Justin Holbrook, who was Hasler\u2019s predecessor, and Hasler himself.<\/p>\n \u201cSomeone\u2019s got to be held accountable, but talking about accountability, both times our coaches are the only one that\u2019s been kept accountable and there\u2019s got to be more than that,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019ve got to look at everything for us going forward.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019ve got to look and question everything. That we\u2019re making the right decisions and we\u2019re looking at everyone.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m not saying there needs to be changes, but both times there\u2019s been two people kept accountable and no one else.<\/p>\n \u201cYou don\u2019t want to get too deep into that.
