Dozens of restaurants co-founded by a celebrity chef are coming to Canada.

Bobby’s Burgers by Bobby Flay recently signed an agreement with The Falcon Capital Group to open 65 locations in Canada, a news release said.

“Expanding into Canada and becoming an international brand is a major milestone,” Flay said.

“The Falcon Capital Group brings proven expertise in brand development and retail franchising that makes them the ideal partners to bring our signature handcrafted burgers, fries and milkshakes to a new audience.”

The Canadian flagship location of the fast-casual restaurant chain will be in Toronto.

It’s not clear when or where exactly the restaurants will open, however.

“Falcon Capital Group is actively engaged in real estate tours throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Currently, the search is focused on both traditional restaurant footprints in neighborhoods and lifestyle centers, as well as the brand’s Canadian flagship restaurant in downtown Toronto,” the release said.

Currently there are nine Bobby’s Burgers locations open in the United States and over a dozen more are in development, the release said.
