Golf Channel Films, in partnership with Rolex, is to air a three-part original docuseries, Tales From The Ryder Cup, as part of the build up to the 2025 Ryder Cup, which is being held at Bethpage Black in New York from September 26-28.
The docuseries chronicles the storied history of one of golf’s most pressure-packed events, highlighting unforgettable moments, dramatic team dynamics, and legendary performances from both sides of the Atlantic.
Featuring more than 40 interviews with past and present Ryder Cup captains and players, Tales From The Ryder Cup delivers first-hand accounts of the intensity and passion that define the biennial competition.
Notable contributors include US Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley, Justin Leonard, Bryson DeChambeau, Fred Couples, Dustin Johnson, and Patrick Reed, alongside European icons Rory McIlroy, Luke Donald, Ian Poulter, Sergio Garcia, and Jon Rahm.
The series also captures the unique energy of New York sports culture, with appearances from legends such as Michael Jordan, Eli Manning, Reggie Miller, Roger Clemens, Pedro Martinez, and Walt ‘Clyde Frazier’. Actor and New Yorker Ed Burns serves as narrator.
The three-part series goes out on August 31, September 7, and September 14, with repeat screenings on Tuesday nights on the Golf Channel and the full series back-to-back on September 18. Episodes will also stream on-demand via Peacock and Golf Channel’s YouTube channel.
Produced by Golf Channel Films and Sky Sports, the project is sponsored by Rolex, a longstanding worldwide partner of the Ryder Cup.
