New Jersey Devils’ Arseny Gritsyuk reveals the only thing his friend Ivan Demidov doesn’t like about Montreal
There are players who love attention, who love being “a star”, but that’s clearly not the case for the young Demidov.
However, since settling in town (he’s been in Montreal since the very start of the summer), he’s realized what it truly means.. to be a Canadiens player.
“Overall, everything is going well for him,” Gritsyuk summarized.
“The only negative side is all the attention, but that’s a small price to pay for all the good things happening.”
So, Demidov is clearly not someone who enjoys all that attention, especially when he’s at a restaurant. But despite that, it’s important to emphasize that he truly loves Montreal.
“People recognize him everywhere,” Gritsyuk said. “We were in a restaurant and someone came up: ‘Are you Ivan Demidov?’ Vanya answered, ‘No, sorry, you’ve got the wrong person.’ And this was in Ottawa!”
There’s only one small negative point, but thousands of positives for him.
It’s definitely a very interesting interview!
