Celtic fans are growing increasingly impatient with the Parkhead board.
From allegedly meddling in Celtic’s transfers to the lack of communication with the supporters, the Champions League exit to Kairat Almaty seems to be the final straw with many.
The lack of communication before the Kairat result and since Celtic’s Champions League exit is palpable and the board are yet to tell the fans anything. Not a peep.
And the galling part is that in a ten-minute interview with talkSPORT, Aberdeen chairman Dave Cormack showed the Celtic board how easy it is to give the fans some information to keep them in the loop with goings on at the club.

Dave Cormack has been a breath of fresh air in Scottish football and for Aberdeen. In 2017 the Scottish businessman invested in the club and within two years, he was named the chairman.
The Aberdeen executive is transparent and open with his own support and, this morning, he put the Celtic board to shame as he told the Pittodrie support exactly what is happening with transfers and even delivered a timeline on how many signings he expects his club to make.
Cormack said on talkSPORT, “I’m a non-executive chairman. The only times I really get involved, is when the football guys come to me and say, ‘I know we said this player was going to cost us in transfer fees and this wages, but it’s more’.
“So I get a lot of calls. But yes, listen, I said a couple of weeks ago, we’re looking to bring in two or three players.
“I think we’ll fulfil that. But when you’re after good players, there’s competition. And sometimes it takes until the last few hours to get it done.
“But we’re certainly looking to strengthen the squad in the next few days.”
The last time anyone from the Celtic board spoke to the Parkhead support
We told this morning how it’s been a while since the Celtic board said anything to the fans.
So here is a brief breakdown:
Dermot Desmond: Last addressed the Celtic fans in September 2020.Michael Nicholson: Sent a message to the Celtic support in 2023.Peter Lawwell: Spoke to Celtic fans via BBC Radio Scotland in February 2018
Speaking via AGMs does not qualify because that is an obligation that they have when the shareholders meet up once a year.
Directly addressing concerns of the Celtic support is an alien concept and to think that it’s been over two years since any of the executive team have piped up is a disgrace.
