Though this week’s rain has been very welcome, there are still some extremely dry conditions in the region.
Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte are asking all residents to conserve water use by 10 per cent to help protect the water supply.
Residents are also asked to refrain from non-essential activities such as:
• Watering Grass
• Washing Cars
• Filling PoolsÂ
A Level 1 Low Water Condition remains in effect for the Quinte Conservation Watershed including the regions of the Moira, Napanee, and Salmon rivers as well as all of Prince Edward County.
