No. 4 seed Taylor Fritz has sailed into the third round of the 2025 US Open with commanding ease, surrendering just one set against Emilio Nava and Lloyd Harris before his upcoming clash with Jerome Kym.

Fritz’s partner, Morgan Riddle, has been a vocal and enthusiastic presence in the stands at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, passionately supporting her 27-year-old boyfriend. Riddle, who commands over 450,000 Instagram followers through her popular “WAG” tennis content, has been documenting the 2025 tournament across her social media platforms.

Tennis, traditionally viewed as a sport steeped in decorum, has often resisted embracing contemporary “content creators.”

Predictably, Riddle has encountered significant criticism from tennis traditionalists. Nevertheless, Fritz has already stepped up to defend her.

During the 2022 BNP Paribas Open, Fritz stood by Riddle’s approach. “I think what [she does is] awesome for our sport. It got a ton of people looking at it. I think you get your typical older fan who may be upset about it,” he explained.

“I don’t understand how anyone can get upset about it. I’m the one who’s a professional tennis player, I’m the one who does this for a living. I 100 percent agree with everything in that video.”

Fritz previously wed his high school love, Raquel Pedraza, during his teenage years. The couple shares a son (Jordan, now eight), but divorced in 2019.

He connected with Riddle through the celebrity dating platform Raya in 2020, and the couple has been an item ever since. “Because it was during COVID, no restaurants were open, no bars were open so we ordered sushi,” Riddle revealed in a PEOPLE interview.

“We went to his place, and I made him watch Midsommar with me, the really messed-up horror movie. Why I chose that as my first introduction to a guy, I don’t really know. I think I traumatized him a little bit.”

She shares a diverse range of content across her social media platforms, featuring beauty product evaluations, GRWM (get ready with me), OOTD (outfit of the day), sponsored content, and additional material.

Riddle discussed with Cosmopolitan last week how she embraced this influencer path. “It was never my intent for my content to be like a gateway drug to the sport. It was just fun for me. Taylor and I started dating during COVID, so the only time I was not in loungewear or sweats was when I was going to his matches,” she explained.

“I really wanted to capitalize on that opportunity and use it as a fun time to dress up and share it with everyone. Within the first six months, I was like, ‘Oh, this is actually getting people genuinely interested in the sport.’ It’s been a very nice surprise.”
