A cyclist has died after a collision with a garbage truck in Guelph’s west end Friday afternoon.
Approximately 3:20 p.m. emergency services were called to the intersection of Elmira Road North and Massey Road. A 37-year-old man was declared deceased at the scene. The operator of the garbage truck was not physically injured.
Roads in the area were closed for approximately five hours.
