Rob Font is still fighting at Noche UFC.
In the wake of Raul Rosas Jr.’s sudden withdrawal earlier this week, Font and David Martinez have agreed to fight Sept. 13 at Frost Bank Center in San Antonio. Two people with knowledge of the situation informed MMA Junkie late Friday night that the bout was nearly finalized.

Font, 38, will seek his third win in a row as part of a late-career resurgence. After losses in four of five fights, Font defeated Kyler Phillips and Jean Matsumoto in consecutive outings.
Martinez, 27, will step into a big spot in just his second UFC appearance since earning his contract on Dana White’s Contender Series last summer. In his debut, Martinez defeated Saimon Oliveira by first-round TKO on March 29.
