Several WWE staff layoffs have reportedly taken place within the company today, Thursday, August 28, 2025.
Since WWE merged with the UFC under the TKO umbrella, there have been regular staff layoffs as the company has been restructuring internally.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reports that there were “a few” staff layoffs today.
These departures were said to be “a result of restructuring.”
As of this writing, there is no word of any talents who have been let go by the company, only the news of internal staff members.
Also as of this writing, no further specific details have emerged regarding the identities of the personnel who have been let go.
Sapp specifically wrote:
I’m told that there were a few staff layoffs in WWE today, as a result of restructuring.
I’ve heard of no talent releases
Earlier this week, Jordan Oasis, Ice Williams and Aaron Roberts were all released from their WWE ID contracts – there’s been no word that those releases and today’s staff layoffs are connected.
