Liverpool have been drawn against eight different teams for the league phase of the 2025/26 Champions League season, and the fixtures fall on notable midweeks between Premier League games.
The latest European campaign starts with Arne Slot‘s side facing Real Madrid (H), Inter (A), Atletico (H), Frankfurt (A), PSV (H), Marseille (A), Qarabag (H) and Galatasaray (A).
They will each pose their own challenge as they fall into a busy schedule from September all the way through to January.
After five of their eight league phase matches, Liverpool will have an away trip in the league – which includes three visits to London, a stop at the Etihad and a long journey to the south coast.

The top eight teams in the 36-team league will go straight into the last 16, with the remaining eight places determined by 16 playoffs between the sides who finished between ninth and 24th.
From this season, teams who finish first to fourth are guaranteed a home second leg in the round of 16 and quarter-finals, as long as they get there.
It doesn’t feel like Liverpool have been dealt too rough a hand here, in terms of tricky Premier League games straight after Champions League assignments.
Well, for now at least – wait until later fixture times are confirmed and the Reds are hit with a load of Saturday 12.30pms!
Back-to-back trips to Marseille and Bournemouth in January have the potential to be taxing, but hopefully, Liverpool have qualified by that point.
Meanwhile, the Brentford game at Anfield on October 22 moving from a 12.30pm to an 8pm kick-off will be well-received by Slot, giving him more time to prepare.
Liverpool’s November certainly starts with a bang to coincide with Bonfire Night, though, with home clashes against Aston Villa and Real Madrid followed by a trip to Man City.
It remains to be seen what day the City game will be, but as far away from Tuesday night against Madrid as possible would be ideal.
Win all three of those and the Reds will be going strong in the Autumn!
