Last night, several stars were in attendance for Jon Jones’ latest event.

The former UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight champion was announced to be the co-owner of Dirty Boxing earlier this year.

On Friday night, the promotion crowned a new heavyweight champion at their third event, as Jairzinho Rozenstruik emerged victorious in the main event.

The card heavily featured former UFC fighters, including the return of Bryan Battle following his recent release from the promotion due to a weight miss.

NBA legend and long-time MMA fan Shaquille O’Neal even suggested that he might get in the ring while he was watching the fights live.

When it comes to celebrities that have been fans of the UFC and MMA in general for a long time, Shaquille O’Neal is absolutely on that list.

O’Neal is not a newcomer to combat sports though Friday night did see him attend a Dirty Boxing event after being personally invited by Jon Jones.

The former NBA player seemingly had a great time watching the fights, and at one point, he jokingly remarked that he might be ready to throw down.

O’Neal praised the event during an interview before pointing to someone who wasn’t on screen and gesturing that they would fight each other.

“The first seven fights were all done by knockout. Fabulous f—— sport. Fabulous for Dirty Boxing. I want to see somebody get knocked out. Me and you, I want to fight him right now.”

The Schmo, who was interviewing him, pointed out that the man O’Neal was pointing at was none other than BKFC star and Dirty Boxing founder Mike Perry, which led to him taking the call out back.

“Who was that? Oh no, no, no, no. Mike, I apologize sir. My bad. I thought you were somebody else. Mike, I apologize, I’m sorry sir.”

Nate Diaz was also in attendance for Dirty Boxing’s event on Friday

One of the other notable names that was in attendance on Friday night was Nate Diaz.

There has been a lot of talk about Diaz potentially making a UFC return, which he told MMA Junkie during an interview that he’s still interested in.

While the promotion’s former star doesn’t necessarily have a list of opponents that he wants to face, he hopes to stay active by competing in MMA, boxing and jiu-jitsu.

Diaz did say that the one event he’s particularly excited about is the UFC’s upcoming event at the White House in 2026.
