Travis Kelce can do far more than just catch touchdowns.
TMZ Sports asked actress Julie Bowen, who is in Happy Gilmore 2 alongside the Kansas City Chiefs star, how Kelce did in the upcoming movie.
“Please, is anybody surprised he’s a star? He’s always been a star,” she said. “He continues to be a star.”
She also said Bad Bunny is “amazing” in the film.
Bowen is reprising her role as Virginia Venit in the sequel to Adam Sandler’s Happy Gilmore about a hockey player turned professional golfer who takes the sport by storm. She isn’t the only notable name reprising a role, as Sandler returns as the main character, Christopher McDonald returns as Shooter McGavin and Ben Stiller returns as Hal.
As for Bad Bunny and Kelce, the trailer seemed to suggest the former will be a caddie and the latter will perhaps be a waiter.
There are a number of other cameos in the film, including from Eminem, Margaret Qualley, and professional golfers such as Rory McIlroy, John Daly, Bryson DeChambeau, Jack Nicklaus, Jordan Spieth, Brooks Koepka, Collin Morikawa, Rickie Fowler, Tony Finau, Justin Thomas and Will Zalatoris.
Kelce certainly stands out for sports fans, as the three-time Super Bowl champion is one of the greatest tight ends in NFL history.
He is no stranger to acting, though, and has hosted Saturday Night Live and appeared in the television show Grotesquerie, among other on-camera appearances.
Happy Gilmore 2 is set to premier Friday on Netflix.
