Throughout his flawless career, Floyd Mayweather was utterly untouchable and Terence Crawford believes there is only one way he could’ve been beaten.
Floyd Mayweather is widely regarded by the boxing world as one of, if not the greatest boxer of all time, ending his career undefeated at 50-0.
Not only was Mayweather regarded a great because of his skills in the ring, but he is the biggest draw in boxing history, holding the top spot for PPV sales.
‘Money’ Mayweather fought several high level opponents throughout his career, from schooling Canelo Alvarez to historic rivalry fights with Manny Pacquiao.

There weren’t many, if any instances in Mayweather’s career when it looked as though he was going to suffer his first ever loss.
And because of that, he is widely respected by not only fellow fighters from his era of boxing, but current boxers making a name for themselves in the sport today, one of whom being Terence Crawford.
On September 13, Crawford takes on his toughest test to date when he clashes against the aforementioned Canelo Alvarez for the super middleweight title.
Canelo was handed his first professional loss by Mayweather when they fought in 2013, and although Crawford never shared the ring with Mayweather, he claimed he would’ve been open to the idea despite their relationship now.
“Floyd yeah (I would’ve fought him) because I wasn’t as close, me and Floyd are close now but when Floyd was boxing I wasn’t as close with Floyd like I am now,” he told the Ring Champs podcast.
The current champion went on to hilariously reveal the only way in which Mayweather could’ve been beaten throughout his career.
“You’ve got to have four arms and six eyes to beat Floyd,” Crawford said on the Ring Champs podcast.
Floyd Mayweather gave Crawford huge praise as the current pound-for-pound king
Mayweather has made his thoughts on Canelo vs Crawford clear, having stated that Canelo was a ‘cake walk’ for him, calling him ‘easy work’.
Not only that but ‘Money’ went on to credit Crawford as the current pound-for-pound best boxer on the planet, pledging his support for his fellow American.
And if Crawford can do what many think is the unthinkable on September 13, he will undoubtedly find himself as the pound-for-pound number one boxer on the planet.
