The world of Combat sports encompasses various disciplines, including MMA, Boxing, Jiu-jitsu, and Muay Thai. However, promotions these days are pitting fighters from different sports against each other and labeling them as super fights. This is opening new doors for Combat sports athletes around the world. Recently, former strongman competitor Eddie Hall showed interest in fighting MMA fighter Dillon Danis.

Danis recently fought at Misfits Boxing 22 and defeated European fighter Warren Spencer in the first round of their fight. The submission win against Spencer crowned him as the inaugural Misfits MMA light heavyweight champion. However, Danis seemed ecstatic after the win and showed interest in fighting other fighters in his new promotion.

While he was celebrating his new championship in the ring, Hall approached him and the two had a conversation in the middle of the ring. The strongman competitor has fought under MMA rules before, when he knocked out Polish fighter and five-time World’s Strongest Man, Mariusz Pudzianowski. However, Hall recently took to X and revealed the stipulations levied by Danis for their potential fight.

Just so everyone knows me and Dillon Danis agreed to fight if I drop to under 300 lbs. 64 lbs to drop, give me 12 weeks.
