Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic will meet for the ninth time on Friday in New York.

Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz will meet for the first time since January when they face off in Friday’s US Open semi-final, with the match scheduled for not before 3:00 p.m. EDT/9 p.m. CEST.
Four-time US Open winner Djokovic won the pair’s previous two meetings and takes a 5-3 Lexus ATP Head2Head lead into the New York clash. Alcaraz is aiming to match or better Jannik Sinner‘s result at the US Open to reclaim the No. 1 spot in the PIF ATP Rankings for the first time since September 2023.

The second US Open semi-final, which will take place between defending champion Sinner and Felix Auger-Aliassime, will take place on Friday at 7:00 p.m. EDT/Saturday 1:00 a.m. CEST.Â
The women’s doubles final will open Friday’s play on Arthur Ashe Stadium at 12:00 p.m. EDT.
