After trailing by a goal at halftime, Sturgeon Bay’s boys soccer team scored three times in the second half Thursday to defeat Gibraltar/Sevastopol in Packerland Conference action at Fish Creek, 3-1.

“We played much better in the second half,” said Clippers head coach Todd Maas.

Sturgeon Bay’s Daniel Wienke tallied two goals, with Joni Ismaili also scoring.

The Clippers, who improved to 2-0 in the conference and 3-1-1 overall, host a non-conference game Friday against Kiel, the team that ended Sturgeon Bay’s season last year in the WIAA Division 4 sectional finals.
