Slipknot have released their massive 25th anniversary edition of their 1999 self-titled album. The collection contains 59 tracks, 40 of which were previously unreleased.

A physical box set of the reissue contains six blood-colored LPs, including the original Ross Robinson-produced album, as well as the raw “Indigo Ranch Mixes,” a number demos, and a handful of Jay Baumgardner mixes. Additionally, the collection features two LPs worth of live tracks recorded at shows in Connecticut, the UK, and Iowa shortly after the album’s original release.

Earlier in the summer, Slipknot briefly made 100 blood-filled vinyl copies of the 25th anniversary reissue available through the website 742617000027.net, and those editions sold out within seconds.

While Slipknot consider their self-titled album their proper debut, they did self-release the album Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat. in their pre-Corey Taylor days. However, it was the album Slipknot that put the band on the map, thanks to classics like “Wait and Bleed,” “Surfacing,” and “Spit It Out.”

Last year, Slipknot embarked on a 25th anniversary tour in celebration of the album, during which they donned red jumpsuits similar to the ones they wore on their original tour in support of the LP.
