Homicide detectives are investigating after a woman in her 20s was found injured in a vehicle near High Park on Friday evening and died in hospital, Toronto police say.
Police were called to the area of Glenlake and High Park avenues shortly before 6 p.m., according to Duty Insp. Errol Watson, spokesperson for the Toronto Police Service.
Officers located the woman inside the vehicle and paramedics took her to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Watson said the woman had an interaction with a man before police arrived and that the man was seen leaving the area.
Police are canvassing the area for video and speaking with witnesses to determine what happened.
