It’s time to crown a pair of champions. The 2025 US Open has reached the finals in the men’s and women’s singles and both matchups could produce some absolute fireworks.

On the men’s side, it will be a pair of familiar faces as No. 1 Jannik Sinner takes on No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz. It’s the third straight time the two will meet in a Grand Slam final after Alcaraz won the French Open in an instant classic over five sets that ended in a tiebreak and Sinner got his revenge at Wimbledon with a four-set victory. It will also be Sinner’s fifth consecutive major final as he is the reigning champion at the US Open.

Sinner got a tough fight out of Felix Auger Aliassime in the semifinal while Alcaraz made quick work of legend Novak Djokovic. The two will clash on Sunday.

On the women’s side, No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka will look for her lone Grand Slam title of 2025 when she takes on No. 8 Amanda Anisimova. Sabalenka has been beaten by Americans at each major so far this year — Madison Keys at the Aussie Open final, Coco Gauff at the French Open final and Anisimova at the Wimbledon semifinals. However, she gets the chance to repeat at the US Open after winning the title over Jessica Pegula a year ago.

Anisimova, meanwhile, battled her own demons to reach this point as she managed to knock out No. 2 Iga Swiatek in the quarterfinals, the woman she lost 6-0, 6-0 in the Wimbledon final in July. Anisimova also owns a 6-3 record against Sabalenka in her career.
