Tye Ruotolo defeated Adrian Lee by submission at ONE Fight Night 35 when he sunk in a rear naked choke and put his opponent to sleep in the second round. After the fight, he was awarded a $50,000 bonus for the performance by ONE president Chatri Sityodtong.

Early on Tye used a body lock to get on top and began landing the first significant strikes of his career. Tye was unrelenting in his assault from top, mixing standing up, punching, elbowing, passing, and more to attack his game opponent’s guard. Whether on the feet or on top, Tye showed an impressive arsenal for a debuting fighter and kept a grueling pace through the match. Late in the second, he finally took the back and off a restart sunk in the choke for the victory.

The Ruotolo brothers remain undefeated in ONE Championship, both holding submission grappling world titles with the organization and unbeaten MMA records. Tye remains the number one ranked 185lb no-gi grappler by FloGrappling.
