Multiple NBA stars were in attendance at the 2025 US Open on Friday.

Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard was seen watching Jannik Sinner’s semifinal matchup with Felix Auger-Aliassime on Friday night.

Meanwhile, Golden State Warriors forward Jimmy Butler met up with Carlos Alcaraz following his 6-4, 7-6(4), 6-2 victory over Novak Djokovic in the other semifinal.

Leonard has been spotted at the event in the past, previously attending the US Open in 2022.

It’s been an eventful offseason for the six-time All-Star, as the NBA recently announced an investigation into allegations that the Clippers and team governor Steve Ballmer circumvented the league’s salary cap by paying Leonard for an endorsement deal with no responsibilities.

As for Butler, he’s been a vocal supporter of Alcaraz throughout the 22-year-old’s impressive career. The two also briefly played against each other during the Qatar Open earlier this year.

Butler also worked as a ball boy during Alcaraz’s match against Frances Tiafoe in the 2023 US Open.
