The RCMP says it is investigating after one person died following a shooting in Langley Friday evening.
Police were called to the area of 53rd Avenue and 200th Street just before 10:30 p.m.

“Frontline officers arrived promptly, located the victim and initiated lifesaving measures,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom.
“Despite their efforts, the victim succumbed to their injuries at the scene.”
Mounties say the investigation has since led them a few blocks away from the initial call, to 53A Avenue and 202nd Street.
