Atlantic City, New Jersey was the boxing “Capital” of the world in the late 1980’s, through the early 1990’s.

That was thanks to President Donald Trump, Mark Etess and Bernie Dillon.

Thanks to Margate, New Jersey native Larry Goldberg, quality boxing cards have returned to Atlantic City on a regular basis.

Goldberg brought back boxing to Atlantic City in May, 2024 … ending a long Atlantic City boxing drought. It was a successful return, leading Goldberg to bring multiple fight cards to Tropicana Atlantic City.
