In August, Google revealed the Pixel 10 series, which included the base model, the 10 Pro, 10 Pro XL and the 10 Pro Fold. While the 10 Pro Fold isn’t coming out until October, the Pixel 10, 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL all came out last year.
MobileSyrup’s Jon Lamont recently published his Pixel 10 review, and while I haven’t posted our review yet of the 10 Pro XL (coming soon), both devices delivered overall good experiences, despite not bringing much more to the table than the Pixel 9 series.
But does that only matter to us reviewers who spend each and every year with new iterations of a company’s handset? Or is it a good thing that the phone isn’t very different than its precessor, meaning it’s a more refined version than what’s available on the market?
My friend’s Pixel 7a was on the fritz, so he immediately went out and bought the Pixel 10 Pro, and he’s loving the upgrade. And since his upgrade was from more than a year ago, the 10 Pro seems like a big update to him, despite seeming terribly boring to many reviewers.
So let us know in the comments below: did you buy the Pixel 10, and what are your thoughts on the new handset?
