Health officials are warning Manitobans they may have been exposed to measles at two Winnipeg health-care facilities.

Anyone who was at the Victoria Hospital urgent care department on Sept. 5 from 10:15 a.m to 2:15 p.m. should watch for symptoms of the highly contagious disease until Sept. 27, the province said in a news bulletin Monday.

People who were at the Walk-In Connected Care clinic at 363 McGregor St. on Sept. 3 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. should monitor for symptoms until Sept. 25, the province said.

Last week, the province announced nine new measles cases, bringing the total number of cases reported so far this year up to 207.

People who have potentially been exposed to the disease are asked to check their immunization records to ensure their vaccine is up to date.
