It’s already been several weeks that we can see something special happening with the Montreal Canadiens.
While players from other NHL teams were on vacation (or at the very least, training separately on their own), in Montreal, we’ve had practices that are practically regular-season level.
We always had to say that “the majority” of players were present in Brossard, because there were still always a few missing, but today, on September 8, we can say it’s a full house in Brossard!
Never seen before on September 8: all the Montreal Canadiens players are there!
The guys are extremely ready for the season!
There’s a small caveat, because captain Nick Suzuki is in Las Vegas for an NHL event, but it’s clear he would be in Brossard if it weren’t for that mandatory event.
It’s such a beautiful thing to see!
See the images and videos, as published by the excellent Marc-Olivier Cook.
So this will be a very special training camp this year.
Normally, players arrive for the start of camp and they haven’t played together for several months (so they need to shake off the rust), but this year the scenario will be completely different.
The difference could be huge, and it’s something never seen before with the Montreal Canadiens.
To see a full practice like this, with everyone there.. On September 8! Wow.
