Sept. 8 (UPI) — Sheriff’s deputies were summoned to a Florida home where a wild boar crashed through a sliding glass door to wreak havoc on the inside of the house.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said on social media that deputies “responded to a not-so-typical burglary” at a home on 3rd Street East in Lehigh Acres.
Body camera footage shows a wild boar charging at deputies as they attempted to wrangle the porcine perpetrator inside the house.
“Deputies learned the ‘suspect’ went hog-wild, busting through a sliding glass door,” the post said. “We were able to remove the boar from the home, sending him snout and about where he belongs — the woods.”
