Google today announced “AI Plus” as a new subscription tier “designed to empower people in emerging markets to do more with Google AI, for less.”
This new Google AI Plus plan comes in between the free tier and AI Pro, which is $19.99 per month in the US.
You get “more access to Gemini 2.5 Pro,” with free users today only getting five prompts per day. Google’s support article has yet to be updated with the AI Plus usage limit. For reference, Google AI Pro comes with 100 prompts/day, while it’s 500 with AI Ultra.
Meanwhile, the Gemini app only has a 128K token context window (compared to 1 million), but that’s up from 32K for free users.

There’s also Veo 3 Fast (presumably in the Gemini app), with additional access to Google Flow (video creation tool) and Whisk (standalone image-to-video tool).
Then there’s access to the Gemini side panel in Gmail, Google Docs, and Sheets, as well as expanded NotebookLM usage.
The final named perk today is 200 GB of Google One storage.
Right now, Google AI Plus is just for emerging markets, starting in Indonesia “with more countries to follow.”
AI Pro in Indonesia costs Rp. 309,000 ($18.79~) per month, and AI Plus is Rp. 75,000/month or $4.56~. (If this new plan ever expands beyond emerging markets, it will certainly be under $20, but the above pricing will presumably not translate.)
