An online user shared a video of a lively attraction at this year’s Pinayahn Festival in Polomolok, South Cotabato.

On September 1, Angel Faith Badilles – Aguillon (@angelfaith.guiritanbadilles) shared a video showing two men face off in a playful yet competitive boxing match while hanging upside down from a horizontal bamboo pole.

They cling tightly and exchange punches until one loses his grip and drops into the foam padding below.

The last man holding on is declared the winner, with the intense match carrying on despite the heavy rain, adding extra thrill to the spectacle.

The host could be heard cheering on the boxers, saying they can endure the rain.

“Ulan ka lang, Pinoy kami,” the host said.

Aguillon shared a series of these boxing matches dubbed “Boksing sa Kawayan” on her social media account.

She also added the hashtag #RainorShine in the video caption.
