Diverse options

LINX’s data center neutrality provides members with diverse options for connectivity.

By becoming an affiliate of INDATEL, LINX will work closely with its community to promote the value of connecting to an IXP.

LINX NoVA offers a neutral, member-owned platform for efficient, low-latency interconnection, enabling networks to exchange traffic directly. This is especially critical for rural providers seeking to improve performance, reduce transit costs, and enhance the digital experience for their customers.

Another key advantage of LINX NoVA is its location in Northern Virginia. Dubbed America’s data center capital, Northern Virginia is the home of subsea cables connecting South America, North America and Europe.

For example, the BRUSA subsea cable terminates directly in the U.S. at the new Virginia Beach Landing Station, offering one of the lowest-latency communication links between the US and Brazil.

Members of LINX NoVA can collocate in five different data center sites, including Iron Mountain (Manassas), QTS (Ashburn), Digital Realty (Ashburn), Coresite (Reston) and Equinix (Ashburn).

Because LINX NoVA is data center-neutral, it gives its members a choice of colocation providers and carriers. It also enables LINX to improve redundancy and increase the exchange’s resiliency.
