Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhir and Armaan crack Anshuman's murder case Armaan and Abhir from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Source: JioHotstar

Tonight’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode opens with Vidya telling Kaveri that she has made a stole for Abhira and wants to send it through Armaan. Kaveri, however, refuses, explaining that such things cannot be sent to jail, which leaves Vidya disappointed.

Vidya’s Concern for Abhira

At that moment, Vidya notices Armaan and happily assumes he must have told Abhira that Maira has been found, which would have lifted her spirits. Armaan quietly agrees, and Vidya adds that he should pass on another message when he meets her next. Before she can continue, Armaan reveals to Vidya and Kaveri that Abhira has refused to meet him.

When Vidya questions him further, Armaan explains that he had appealed in court to move Abhira out of solitary confinement, but she was accused of physically attacking another inmate. Because of this, he is unsure if the court will approve the request.

He adds that Abhira doesn’t want him to pursue the case any further and that her condition inside is getting worse, leaving him confused and helpless. Geetanjali is shown overhearing this conversation from a distance.

Abhira’s Isolation in Jail

Inside her solitary cell, Abhira sits upset and notices a stone near her. She picks it up and starts drawing on the wall. When food is served, she refuses to eat.

The next day, Armaan reaches the jail hoping to meet her, but the staff informs him that Abhira doesn’t wish to see him. The officer even points out that he comes every week and sits there waiting, but Abhira never comes out to meet him. Armaan still holds on to the hope that she might eventually step out.

Days continue to pass in the same manner. Armaan keeps working on the case, speaks to Maira for support, and repeatedly tries to meet Abhira, but she continues to shut herself off. In one scene, he checks on Maira and questions why she is always inside her room. Maira makes it clear that she will only step out once Abhira is freed. Meanwhile, working on the case, Armaan notices that none of the waiters are willing to speak up about the incident.

Abhira’s Love for Maira

One day, the jail staff informs him that Abhira is not eating, not sleeping, and refusing to talk to anyone. She also refuses to leave her cell. When Armaan asks what she spends her time doing, the staff tells him that she has been sitting inside, drawing pictures on the wall.

Inside her cell, Abhira sketches Maira’s picture on the wall and says that no one will ever be able to break their bond. At the same time, Armaan learns that the waiter who had served coffee to Abhira and Anshuman has suddenly gone missing.

He instructs Kushal to dig deeper into this lead. Even after repeated attempts, Armaan fails to meet Abhira, as she continues to refuse everyone.

Abhir Confronts Kiara

Meanwhile, Abhir confronts Armaan, asking him if he is struggling to prove Abhira’s innocence. Later, Abhir finds a sachet lying around. At first, he mistakes it for waste and is about to throw it away, but then he realises that it looks exactly like the one that had caused Anshuman’s death.

He is puzzled about how it ended up there since no one has visited the place after Abhira’s arrest. This makes him recall an earlier conversation with Kiara and remember that she had been there, which raises his suspicion that the sachet might be connected to her.

Kiara’s Confession

Around the same time, Kiara begins showing signs of withdrawal. Abhir then goes to the Poddar house determined to confront her. He directly questions her about Anshuman’s death, reminding her that his friends were present at the same café on the day of the incident. He reveals that he checked their dash camera footage, which clearly showed Kiara running out of the café before Anshuman lost his life.

The confrontation leaves Kiara shaken, and she finally breaks down. She admits that her dependence on drugs was the reason Anshuman died and accepts that Abhira ended up in jail because of her mistake.

Kiara blames herself further, saying that if she had never fallen into addiction, Anshuman would still be alive, and she cries that she is responsible for his death. At that moment, she is stunned to see the entire Poddar family standing right beside her, having heard everything.

Family’s Reaction

The confession shatters the family. Tanya, overwhelmed with grief and anger, lashes out at Kiara, holding her responsible for Anshuman’s tragic end.

Manisha scolds her for indulging in drugs, while both Manoj and Manisha regret that she is their daughter. Kaveri also condemns Kiara for keeping the truth hidden despite knowing that Abhira, Maira, and Tanya were all enduring pain because of her silence.

Determined to make Kiara face consequences, Manisha decides to hand her over to the police. However, Armaan intervenes and insists that they should first understand what pushed Kiara into drugs.

Kiara, on the other hand, begs him not to shield her any longer. Tanya declares Kiara as Anshuman’s murderer, but Armaan strongly denies it. He maintains that neither Kiara nor Abhira is guilty and promises to expose the real culprit.

Armaan and Abhir expose SaharshArmaan and Abhir expose SaharshArmaan and Abhir Expose Saharsh

While Abhira’s health continues to worsen behind bars, Armaan and Kiara join hands to trap Saharsh. Armaan lures Saharsh into bringing the same substance that he had earlier supplied to Kiara.

Saharsh finally discloses that the Heart & Brew café has been running the supply of illegal substances and that both the staff and the owners were receiving commissions from it. Armaan manages to capture this confession on record. Realising that he has been filmed, Saharsh panics and tries to escape. Just then, Abhir appears in his path, causing him to stumble and fall. Even after that, Saharsh makes another attempt to flee, but Armaan quickly grabs him by the collar and stops him, leaving him with no choice but to face the consequences of his actions.
