If the Kansas City Chiefs want to make another run at the Super Bowl in 2025, they’ve got to do something about their wide receiver situation.

Thanks to a suspension to Rashee Rice and injuries to Xavier Worthy and Jalen Royals, Kansas City is extremely thin at wide receiver, leaving the Chiefs to depend on Marquise Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster and Tyquan Thornton.

For a team with high hopes and an all-time great quarterback in Patrick Mahomes, more help is needed. That’s why an analyst has floated a trade that would reunite Kansas City with wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

Bleacher Report’s Kristopher Knox suggests a trade that would have the Chiefs send the Miami Dolphins a conditional 2026 third-round pick for Hill.

While even a diminished Hill would be a huge upgrade and game-changer for the Chiefs, there are a few major concerns with the superstar wide receiver.

Not only can he disrupt a locker room if things go south, but Hill is also currently being accused of domestic violence by his estranged wife. Hill has denied her accusations through his lawyer.

Hill’s issues are going to make teams think twice about trading for him and could hurt his value on the trade market if they are interested.

As of right now, it doesn’t look like any teams are interested in Hill, as ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the Dolphins have gotten “zero calls” on the eight-time Pro Bowler. Schefter adds that Miami isn’t looking to trade him right now, anyway.

“Let’s not let facts interfere with a good story,” Schefter said. “The facts are the Dolphins haven’t gotten any calls about Tyreek Hill. Zero. The facts are that the Dolphins are not looking to deal Tyreek Hill.”

The Chiefs have already been down the very bumpy road (to put it lightly) that has been Hill’s life off the field and might not be keen on going down that road again.

If the Dolphins continue on their current disastrous trajectory, it’s very conceivable that Hill will be on the trade block at some point. If things get desperate enough in Kansas City, it’s not crazy to think they could bring Hill back.
