TEMPE, Ariz. – The UCLA women’s tennis team and five of its student-athletes were recognized Monday as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association handed out ITA Academic Awards.
UCLA was named an ITA All-Academic Team for the eighth straight year under head coach Stella Sampras Webster after registering a team grade-point average (GPA) of 3.2 or better across the 2024-25 academic year.
ITA Scholar-Athletes must have GPAs of 3.5 or better for 2024-25 to be honored. Senior Elise Wagle, juniors Ahmani Guichard and Mia Jovic, sophomore Bianca Fernandez and freshman Olivia Center reached the threshold.
Wagle became a three-time honoree with her latest appearance, previously qualifying in 2024 and 2022. Guichard and Jovic each made the cut for the second time in as many years. Center and Fernandez were first-timers.
