DECORAH, Iowa – The Gustavus Adolphus College men’s soccer team faced the Luther College Norse on Friday for a non-conference contest. The Gusties scored thrice in the second half to rally for a 4-2 victory over the Norse.
 
Ryder Tomlinson scored in the 11th minute to give the Gusties the first lead of the game. Luther then scored in the 30th minute to tie the game and then once again in the 33rd minute to take a 2-1 lead,
 
In the second half, Joe Flory scored back-to-back goals to retake the lead for Gustavus. The junior scored the equalizer in the 54th minute and then went on to score the game-winner in the 77th minute to put the Gusties up 3-2. Kieran Mahan assisted Flory on the game-winner and then scored an insurance goal two minutes later, with Flory assisting, as the Gusties took the 4-2 victory.
 
Quinton Geddes had four saves in goal for Gustavus.
 
Up next for the Gusties is a road game at Augsburg on Wednesday, Saturday 17 at 7:30 p.m.
