Pearce Dietrich helps you build your DraftKings Pick6 Pick Sets for the NASCAR Cup Series Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol.
The NASCAR Cup Series Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol is on Saturday and DraftKings is offering a new way to play fantasy NASCAR. The game is simple. Build a “Pick Set” (2+ drivers) and decide if they will outperform their stat projections. Here is some advice to help build your DraftKings Pick6 Pick Sets for the NASCAR Cup Series Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol.
Kyle Larson: More than 80.5 Fantasy Points
This number looks light when you consider Larson’s Bristol resume. He’s led 873 of the last 1,000 laps at The Last Great Coliseum and has won the last two races at Bristol as well as two of the last four Night Races here. That kind of dominance translates directly into fantasy points since laps led and fastest laps pile up in a hurry on a half-mile track with 500 circuits. Larson doesn’t just check the win box, he smashes the bonus categories that matter most. His practice laps weren’t very encouraging, but Bristol practice laps don’t concern me a whole lot. If there were ever a track where practice doesn’t reflect the racing, it’s Bristol. The first group practiced on a green track, and the track never took rubber during the hour-long session. Drivers hot lapped on a single groove at the bottom of the track all session long.
Fantasy scoring is built for drivers like Larson. A win alone (45 DKFP) puts him more than halfway to the line, and just 150 laps led and 40 fastest laps push him well past 80.5. At Bristol, Larson has made that baseline look routine — his last two wins here cleared this Pick6 total by the halfway point of the race. On Saturday night, expect the emperor to put on a commanding performance in The Last Great Coliseum.
Ty Gibbs more than 36.5 Fantasy Points
Ty Gibbs has been on an upward trajectory at Bristol lately which puts him in a strong spot to clear his Pick6 line of 36.5 fantasy points. In the 2025 Food City 500, he notched a season-best third at Bristol, his first top-five of the year, showing he can handle clean air, traffic, and transitions under pressure. He also rolled off the grid from P6 and held an average running position around P7, which is exactly the kind of stability that translates into fantasy production. Stage points and a mid-top-10 finish alone can push him past this number.
Gibbs has additional upside at Bristol thanks to steady improvement and a crew chief change (Tyler Allen) that has the No. 54 team trending in the right direction. He doesn’t need to win to beat this line — a clean race with 10-15 fastest laps and a top-10 finish will push him comfortably over 36.5. While victory still feels like a stretch, Gibbs is positioned to grind his way to Pick6 value. In this format, the over on 36.5 fantasy points is one of the sharper plays.
