The two men will compete on Netflix for a lot of money and glory, as the winner gets a huge boost to his already-impressive resume, to go along with all of the shiny hardware that comes with a win, including this diamond-encrusted ring. Crawford will move up a couple of weight classes in search of his whale, the big win that has been missing from his resume. Alvarez, meanwhile, looks to add one more big name to his already-impressive hit list of victims in his storied boxing career.
In the co-main event of the evening, Callum Walsh will face off against Fernando Vargas, Jr. (full preview here), while Christian Mbilli will put his interim WBC Super Middleweight title on the line, as well as his undefeated record (29-0) against fellow unbeaten, Lester Martinez (19-0).
Many readers check in before, during and after the fights to share their thoughts on all of the action, which will begin at 5:30 p.m. ET on YouTube. Feel free to leave a comment (or several) about the bouts and chat with all the other Maniacs during the show — it’s always a lot of fun!
