After a few weeks of teases, Bayley is officially back, and seems to have gone back to her old ways.
During Monday’s episode of WWE RAW, Bayley returned to the ring during a match between Lyra Valkyria and Roxanne Perez. After Valkyria won, she was ambushed by Raquel Rodriguez, with both Rodriguez Perez attacking her. Bayley came running down to make the save, and the crowd couldn’t be happier.
After clearing the ring of the heels, Bayley then stared down Valkyria for a moment. She looked a bit hesitant, but eventually bailed out of the ring to do something else.
After bailing out of the ring, Bayley then ran and hugged every member of the broadcast team. She then began hugging the ringside announcer, and even some fans at ringside. The return to Bayley’s old form was a shock to everyone, including the commentary team at ringside. Valkyria also looked on in surprise as Bayley went back up the ramp in joy.
The return to Bayley’s old gimmick is a surprising one, but not too much. In previous vignettes commenting on her return, Bayley talked about being a role model to so many, and reflecting on how she had been acting in recent years.
